Chanel - Haute Couture 2015.

The first thing I do after waking up most mornings is check what's happening on Instagram. Most of the time I think this is a terrible habit and that I should stop. Except for this morning. This morning my Instagram feed was a flutter of images from the Chanel Haute Couture 2015 show in Paris... and  that is why sometimes it's not so bad to have an to Instagram habit. I'm instantly connected to what's happening in the worlds I am interested.

The garden theme set design with its mechanic, futuristic paper sculptures immediately caught all of my attention. Chanel's set designs always feel like some kind crazy-luxurious planet far, far away. For haute couture I felt this collection was really young and fresh. There was still the impeccably made tweed jackets the label is synonymous for and the finale wedding dress which took 15 people to make. But the black boots, belts tied loosely around the waist and the exposed midriffs along with the punchy colour palette all spell freedom, spirit and fun to me.

I think this whole collection would tie in nicely with my new colour palette to be honest...
